Match Information

Match Information.

Pistols for the match should be military service semi autos or
revolvers  with fixed metalic sights and that hold at least 6 rounds.
Modern polymer or striker fired pistols are not eligible.

The Military Service Pistol Match is shot in bay 10 of the action range.
Two different pistols are required and the course of fire includes both
left and right hand shooting, one handed at 7 yards and two handed at
14 and 21 yards. Each string of fire is 6 shots.  We shoot a 36 shot course
of fire with each pistol for a total of 72 rounds   There are no reloads,
so only one magazine is needed if shooting a semi-auto. The tan NRA
B-27E target is used.  All shooting starts from the low ready position.
No holster is required but you will need a case that can cover the pistol
when moving to and from the firing line if you don't have a holster.

Matches are held at a private club open to members and their guests.
